Mateo Blanco - Imagining Inspiration

Hairy inspiration IMAGINAIRE to be displayed in January 2015 at Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum.

ORLANDO, FL, December 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mateo Blanco's newest unique piece of artwork "IMAGINAIRE", will be displayed for all to view in January 2015 at Ripley's Believe It or Not.

The renowned Colombian - American Artist is known internationally as a leading tenor and now an artist of exceptional artwork. Recently in August, 2014, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum in Orlando, FL recognized Blanco's "sweet" artwork. Via his caricatures exhibit, Blanco channeled a childhood experience of unhealthy eating into inspiration for his beautiful artwork constructed from 100% natural sugars.

While working on his second album, his muse was at work once more. As Blanco began to listen to the musical works of John Lennon, he was quickly inspired to create another unique artistic phenomenon. One can only IMAGINE how he transcended and became compelled to recreate Lennon's face using only dog hair. This is his way to pay tribute to the dog hair ritual of faithfulness and devotion from years past - attributing it to Lennon's dedication and true commitment to his music until facing tragic death December 8, 1980.

For the majority of artists, the use of color is important and often the only way to bring their artistic expression to life. For his new masterpiece, Mateo has skipped traditional color -leaving versatility, skill and overall interesting work for all to admire.

IMAGINAIRE will be displayed at Ripley Believe It or Not Museum in Mexico City, Mexico.
