Mrs. DC America Organization Is Now Accepting Applications for 2015!

An official preliminary pageant to Mrs. America and Mrs. World, the Mrs. DC America Pageant is now welcoming women from all ethnic backgrounds to participate in the 2015 pageant!



    WASHINGTON, DC, December 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since 1977, the Mrs. America pageant is the leading competition for married women! This renowned national competition is devoted to emphasizing that America's 70 million married women are extraordinarily beautiful, poised, articulate, and versatile.

Each state (plus the District of Columbia) has a yearly preliminary pageant to select a delegate to participate in the Mrs. America pageant. At the Mrs. America pageant 51 women compete for the coveted title of Mrs. America. Then, the delegate who wins the Mrs. America pageant moves on to the Mrs. World pageant, competing against other beautiful, articulate, and poised women from around the world! Becoming a Contestant Fast Facts:

To compete you:

1) Must be married at the time of the Mrs. DC America Pageant in March 2015

2) Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the Mrs. DC America pageant

3) Must live or work within a 25-mile radius of Washington, DC

4) Must be a legal citizen of the United States

5) Must be physically fit and be considered to have a "healthy" weight by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

-Mrs. DC America 2013, Meagan B. Barnes, was a high-school baskeball star.
-Mrs. DC America is one of the few pageants in the DC metro area designed for married women.
-Mrs. DC America went under new management in September 2011 by An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC
-Mrs. DC America 2012, Arika Burton, became the Official Ambassador for the National Financial Education Council.
-Famous TV-show star Omorosa Manigault Stallworth was Mrs. DC America 2001.
-Mrs. DC America 2010, Regena Reigns Robinson made history when she became the first woman to hold a News Director position for two channels.
