The Plato Group Evaluate Inspirational Company Cultures

A new survey reveals the top 25 companies with the best company cultures. The Plato Group reveal the reasons why those companies are so popular with their employees and how a great company culture can increase productivity.

MIAMI, FL, January 01, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The most recent Glassdoor survey has revealed that social media firm Twitter has been established to have the best company culture with a rating for culture and value of 4.5, followed by Edelmann and Google with 4.4. Glassdoor is a site where employees can rate their employers. The rankings were determined by reviews submitted over the past year. Among others, also in the Top 25 list are Facebook on fifth position with a rating of 4.3, Apple on 15th with 4.1 and P&G on 21st position with 4.0. The Plato Group says it is crucial to build a great company culture from the beginning. "It is a mind-set, a way of doing things", explains a spokesperson of The Plato Group.

According to the Glassdoor survey, Twitter offers its employees rooftop meetings and transparency. Google insists that they would primarily focus on the bigger picture rather than getting distracted by short-term trends. One of the respondents explains about Google: "The idealism is also reflected in the projects that get funded: not so many projects that chase the gimmick-of-the-day; more projects that lay out a vision of a better world."

Creating and maintaining a great company culture has a positive effect on a firm's success, believes The Plato Group. The firm's priorities in order to maintain a positive company culture are appreciation, empowerment, motivation and innovation. "Not one day goes by without showing how much we appreciate each other", explains a spokesperson of The Plato Group. The firm also suggests that businesses should look into an appropriate incentive structure to thank their employees. Furthermore, the firm empowers their sales force to deal with any customer feedback directly. No matter what it costs, The Plato Group says their main priority is to keep customers happy and make them come back. "We trust our people and empower them to make decision on the spot to resolve things quickly", says The Plato Group.

By showing constant appreciation and empowering people, The Plato Group feels that motivation is wide spread in their company.
