Woods Maintenance Services Creates a Social Impact Program

Gives back to the city's cause of choice.



    LOS ANGELES, CA, January 11, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Woods Maintenance Services -the full service trash, debris, weed removal, and graffiti removal service - announced today the launch of a new social impact program. For every new contract signed they will be donating 3-5% to the city's cause of choice, facilitated by the ONEHOPE Foundation's Social Impact As a Service program. Most recently, they donated $5,000 to AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) after signing a contract with the city of West Hollywood. Their contribution is helping provide more than 625 people living with HIV/AIDS life-enhancing services, as well as food and personal hygiene products through the organization's Vance North Necessities of Life Program food pantries.

Woods Maintenance Services is integrally involved with not only the cities where it has contracted work, but also with communities or organizations that need their assistance. Overall in the city of Los Angeles, Woods Maintenance Services has donated over $182,500 to nonprofits to improve the community. In addition to the donation to APLA, they have provided 212,000 meals to children in need through the Valley Food Bank, and also funded 700 children to attend the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra's Music Program.
