The Haitian American Nursing Organization and Allied (Hanoa) Announces the Success of the 5th Annual Gala

    WEST PALM BEACH, FL, January 12, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On behalf of our Board of Directors, volunteers and honorees, The Haitian American Nursing Organization and Allied (Hanoa) would like to thank all of those dedicated supporters for the tremendous success of our 5th Annual Gala, "For Better Health, "For Better Cities, "For Better World", in Boca Raton, Florida. This was held December 6, 2014, creating healthy environments in cities is more critical than ever before now that more than half the world's population lives in cities.

We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all of our Premier Sponsors for their committed and motivated support of our mission to offer quality medical care with dignity and respect to our Friends in Belle Glade for our Second Annual Health Fair April 25 2015.

About Hanoa: The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied, a non-profit organization, was established in 2010 to provide nurses the opportunity to unite as a group; to share and provide ideas of interest; and to become effectively involved with the issues and services relevant to the health and welfare of communities in Florida. HANOA fosters awareness and commitment to providing excellent nursing services. Additionally, the organization strives to increase the enrollment of Haitian nursing students through education and mentoring opportunities, as well as, creating community-networking opportunities for its members. HANOA goal is to provide scholarships for students enrolled in nursing schools in Florida and Haiti; and provide health education on High blood pressure, Diabetic management, Childhood Obesity, Immunization drives, Educational programs on HIV/AIDS, as well as other health concerns.
