Cannon PC Releases Pro A/V Series Media Centers

    /24-7PressRelease/ - SPRING, TX, February 02, 2008 - Cannon PC, a Media Center PC and technology specialty company, announced January 30th that it will be adding three new Media Centers to its lineup of Media Center products. The Pro A/V line of high end Media Centers will be distributed through authorized Cannon PC dealers and through limited distributorship.

The Cannon PC Pro A/V Series consists of three models; the LX, EX and RX. The LX has been redesigned to include a stylish new case that integrates gold plated front audio connectors, quick access USB and Fire Wire connection as well as a 12 in 1 media card reader. The LX also has two DVD drive bays for a custom configuration of dual DVD, dual HD-DVD, or dual Blu-Ray drives. The LX is powered by Intel Dual Core processors, dual channel DD2 memory, 7.1 Channel Dolby Digital HD audio and can house 5 TB of internal storage.

The EX has been redesigned as well with a new 12 inch hi-definition touch screen panel. This makes it ideal for the custom installation in an A/V rack. It also has the capability of housing 10 internal 3.5" hard drives for a massive 10 TBs of storage for photos, recorded TV, videos and music. The EX is also powered by Intel Dual Core processors, high speed DDR2 dual channel memory and the ATI HD 2600 graphics card with 256 MB RAM.

The RX is designed for the true rack mount solution. Designed to fix in a standard A/V rack, the RX contains precision ball bearing sliding rails for ease of access. It also can be configured to store 6 TB of hot swap SATA II disk drive storage for the demanding customer.

Each Cannon PC Media Center system is fully customizable but comes with standard features such as a 12-in-1 media card reader, front IO, USB and fire wire connections, dual TV tuners, HDTV tuners, 8 channel HD audio, P35 Express chipset, Quad Core and Dual Core Processor, high end ATI graphics cards, up to 8 GB or RAM and up to 6 terabytes of internal SATA hard disk storage. Each system uses state of the art motherboards and components that utilize cool and quiet technology to ensure that their systems are whisper quiet and low on heat. All systems are backed by a 1 year factory warranty.
