Motorcycle Air Conditioning? That's the COOLEST Idea I've Ever Heard

A game-changing device for personal transportation has just been released that will make motorcycles and bicycles more viable for commuters, cutting congestion, reducing carbon emissions, making moto touring more accessible for retiring baby boomers.

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 11, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A revolutionary new safety and comfort device for motorcyclists and outdoor workers has just been released by a company in Southern California called RoadWarriorTech- http://www.roadwarriortech.com/, which they claim to be "the first micro-climate control system that can provide both cooling AND heating for two users." With the burgeoning market of retiring baby boomers that have the desire to get back on the road with two and three wheeled vehicles, now that their children have moved on to college, the company believes they are perfectly positioned to provide the technology that will enable returning motorcyclists to pursue their passionate exploration of the country in total comfort and safety.

CEO Scott Barbret's original interest in the technology came about from his desire to create a portable climate control system that would fit in his laptop bag, as he frequently commutes and attends sales calls on his 2012 BMW F800GS motorcycle.

He believes the technology behind the device will also provide un-paralleled opportunity for people to re-consider commuting on bicycles and motorcycles which will help ease congestion in major metropolitan areas, in addition to helping outdoor workers combat heat fatigue and dehydration, a top concern of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

This technology will also provide motorcyclists with the convenience of being comfortable without having to forego full protective riding gear potentially saving insurance companies billions in insurance payouts with the average cost of non-fatal accidents ranging between $2500 and $1.4 million and fatal motorcycle accidents costing upwards of $1.2 million.

The device itself consists of an insulated back-pack with an integrated pump which connects to a vest worn with a snug fit on the skin of a user, which contains a network of about 30 to 50 feet of surgical grade micro-tubing. Users can operate the device by adding ice and water to the reservoir within the insulated back-pack which is then circulated throughout the vest, acting sort of like a mini radiator for the human body and as the ice melts it can be drank via a CamelBak like drinking tube, pretty neat!

The advanced version of the device features a control panel that can be connected to the existing insulated back-pack which can then be attached to a motorcycle or other open-air vehicle's battery to cool AND heat of the water circulated through the system.

You can pre-order the device on Kickstarter- http://kck.st/18REoPh to guarantee it arrives in time for the summer, or after their campaign ends the device can be purchased through their website.
