Acura NSX Debuts at NAIAS 2015

    TAMPA, FL, February 17, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- After years of teasing a reboot of its early '90s legendary NSX sports car, Acura finally revealed its much-anticipated production-spec Acura NSX supercar at this year's 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. (1)

Ferman Acura is pleased to announce the global unveiling of the automaker's utterly exhilarating super-car last month. The debut of the iconic sports car attracted quite a bit of attention since the original NSX was a truly incredible everyday super-car, one that was tuned by none other than late legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna. As for the new model, the 2016 NSX stays quite true to the concepts introduced in 2012 and 2013 in Detroit, (2) and it is expected to surpass all performance expectations. (3)

The new NSX retains its original mid-mounted V-6 structure and features a hybrid power-train with several electric motors meant to drive the front wheels, while the gas-powered twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 feeds the rear wheels. (4) The engine is paired to a dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the vehicle features all-wheel drive, both of which come standard. (5)

The 2016 Acura NSX is a hybrid powerhouse (1) sporting jaw-dropping good looks that include new vents on top of the front fenders, sharp-looking headlights that appear wider and cut in width, and a rear deck lid spoiler, among other features.
