Coming Explosion in Alzheimer's Disease May be Starting Sooner Than Expected

    MOUNT DORA, FL, March 02, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new British study highlighting the fact that memory-destroying Alzheimer's has become the leading cause of death in women in the UK, should ring alarm bells in the US, says a leading brain-health specialist.

The study, conducted by Alzheimer's Research UK, also found that women are far more likely than men to become caretakers of Alzheimer's sufferers, causing them to experience physical and emotional stress, and often times lose their jobs in the process.

Alzheimer's disease is currently the #6 leading cause of death of men and women in the US, and it is predicted that two billion people worldwide could be at risk for the disease by the year 2050.
