PrivacyDuck.com Donates 30% of February, March Profits to San Francisco Mission District Fire Victims

PrivacyDuck.com donates 30% of February, March profits to San Francisco Mission district fire victims.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, March 07, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- PrivacyDuck.com is donating 30% of their February and March 2015 profits to the displaced victims of San Francisco's January 29th Mission District fire, which left one person dead and numerous long-term residents homeless. PrivacyDuck.com - a San Francisco startup focusing on cost-effective Internet Privacy services - is donating the funds because CEO Will McAdam believes, "We have an obligation to support our neighbors in the City we live, work, and play in."

McAdam, who founded PrivacyDuck.com in 2013 after two years running the privacy department at Silicon Valley firm Reputation.com, explains: "When we started PrivacyDuck.com it was always our intention to use a significant portion of any profits for direct-action charities and causes that affect our neighborhood, our city."

Acknowledging recent events fueling San Francisco's evolving class war, McAdam continues, "I'm not a fan of the disengaged tech scene in the City, and I hope other startups and their leaders rise to the challenge of being an actual SF neighbor."

The 30% donation of February and March profits will come from all sales of PrivacyDuck.com's internet privacy services (starting at $19.99), which removes basic information and identity theft exposure elements from over 80 websites and data sources. Revenue from PrivacyDuck.com's
other offering - third-party SEO and online reputation analysis - will also be included.
