Free Webinar to be Presented by Eagle Technology

Data rich-analysis poor: The Big Data Webinar with Dr Joe Jacobsen - April 28 1pm CST.

MILWAUKEE, WI, April 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eagle Technology and Dr. Joe Jacobsen will join together to present a three-part webinar entitled "Data Rich--Analysis Poor." The free webinar will discuss what tools are available to collect data, and how that data can be used to better build sustainable industries.

The first webinar will be held on April 28th at 1pm CST, and will focus on the question of Big Data or Big Science. Many industries collect huge amounts of data from various sources, but then lack the tools to adequately analyze it, or use it to drive decision making. The size and value of the data may even exceed the ability of standard database tools to manage and contain. Dr. Jacobsen hopes to help webinar attendees learn more about how to determine the value of their collected data, and see how to use it to drive policy and create more sustainable businesses.

The second session of the webinar will be held on May 12th at 1pm CST, and the third on June 2nd at 1pm CST. Additional topics will include how decreasing costs of data transmission via the cloud facilitate information access from a centralized point, analytics software, and work order management integration. The end of each webinar session will include a survey. For attendees who complete all three surveys, Eagle Technology will give away a copy of Dr. Jacobsen's new book, Sustainable Business And Industry. This text is rapidly becoming a go-to book in the industry of sustainable development and data understanding and analysis.

Those interested in attending the webinar should register through Webinar's website at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/5362355957900046082.
