William W. Pulos Honored for More Than 33 Years of Excellence in Law

    HORNELL, NY, May 28, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William W. Pulos, Partner of Pulos and Rosell LLP, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence practicing law.

Mr. Pulos graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Alfred University in 1977. He then attended Albany Law School Union University, where he earned a Juris Doctor and was honored with the Board of Trustees Practice Court Prize, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association Prize, and placement on the Senior Prize Trial First Team. He is admitted to the New York State Bar, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court Western District of New York, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the New York Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Steuben County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association Lawyer Referral Program.

Mr. Pulos focuses his practice in personal injury, workers compensation, real estate, estates and business matters. His law firm Pulos and Rosell LLP also serves clients in divorce court, family court, justice court, and DWI cases.

First inspired to pursue a career in law by his parents and his sincere desire to advocate for others, Mr. Pulos attributes his success to his educational background and the support he has received from his parents and colleagues.

In addition to his work serving clients on a daily basis, Mr. Pulos is a published author and has been a teacher and coach at Alfred University, the State University of New York in Alfred, and New York Empire State College. He has received a bevy of awards and accolades throughout his career, including an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell (the highest award for ethics and ability given by the oldest attorney rating service in the U.S.), United States Jaycees Outstanding Young Men of America (twice), and listings in various Who's Who publications including American Universities and Colleges, in the East, in American Law, in America. Further he was the recipient of the Lions Club International District 20 E-1 Leadership Award and the Lions Club International Humanitarian Melvin Jones Award. A dedicated public servant, Mr. Pulos has donated over 10,000 hours of his time to community service, pro bono. He has served as General Manager and Coach of his rugby club, President of the Lions Club, President of the Alfred Station Fire Department and currently serves as the President of his high school alumni association (Alfred-Almond Central School in Almond, NY).
