New Jersey-based marketing experts A.R Discovery International offer an insightful guide for young professionals and budding entrepreneurs on how to stay motivated and goal setting.

JERSEY CITY, NJ, June 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Motivation is the driving force for entrepreneurs, and it is necessary to push someone and allow them to keep going when they encounter failures. A.R. Discovery International, direct marketing specialists based in New Jersey, shares their advice for staying motivated and achieving goals.

About A.R International : http://www.ardiscoveryinternational.com/

1. Visualize your success
Visualization is a simple but extremely useful motivation tool. If someone can form a picture of succeeding in their mind, they are then able to begin to imagine the possibility of reaching their goal.

2. Speak about achieving your goals in definitive, positive terms
Change your language, instead of saying "if" say when. This positive affirmation makes the possibility seem more achievable by shifting focus from possibility to actuality. Best-selling author Dr. Wayne Dyer has written and spoken extensively about the "I Am" discourse, a form of positive thinking.

3. Keep a goal diary
A written reminder can prove extremely motivational. Writing down goals and reflecting regularly on progress can help someone to not only focus on the end goal but it also holds them accountable. A 1979 study conducted in the Harvard MBA program asked students if they had goals and if they'd written them down. Of those asked 3% had written down their goals, 13% had goals but hadn't written them down, and 84% had no clearly defined goals. When researchers revisited the participants ten years later, the study revealed that the 3% who had written down their goals were the most financially successful.

4. Daydream
Not the common daydreaming and drifting off, according to Margrit Tarpalaru, there's a way to procrastinate "consciously, creatively, and, most importantly, guiltlessly." She is a teacher who uses the technique to plow through grading papers, she refers to it as the "micro-break," which many of us probably think of as that reflexive urge to check our social media pages for five minutes, only to get sucked in and the break becoming not so micro. Instead, Tarpalaru suggests techniques like a quick daydream, glancing up from the computer screen to spend a few minutes thinking about all of the glorious things that await you once you've gotten through the day, or week.

"Motivation is the key ingredient for success here at A.R. Discovery International, without it it's practically impossible to follow through and achieve goals," said Gary McKinney, Managing Director at A.R. Discovery International.
