Celebrate Rev. Patrick Stout's 45 Years in Ministry with Community Church of Hope

Drawing for "Cop for a Day" Raffle Aug. 27, 2015 at Macayo's on Central



    PHOENIX, AZ, August 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Community Church of Hope (CCH) today announced the coming celebration of Rev. Patrick Stout's 45th year in ministry culminating in a raffle drawing for the "Cop for a Day" event donated by the City of Phoenix. The drawing will take place at the social event of the year - a party honoring Rev. Stout on August 27, 2015 at Macayo's on Central.

City and state politicians and dignitaries supporting the LGBTQ community are often visitors and speakers at CCH and will be invited to attend the party which will be an open house from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Food, drinks, entertainment and other surprises will take place in addition to the 6:45 pm raffle drawing.

In the Valley for 23 years, Rev. Stout founded CCH in 1996 which is now one of the largest LGBTQ independent churches in the United States. Under his leadership the church has been the Echo Reader's Choice Award for Leader of Spirituality and Worship 16 out of its 19 years of existence. His vision and passion for spiritual growth in individual's lives as well as the LGBTQ community has kept the church focused on keeping its goals of helping people to find their true worth and embodying God's love in their lives. Members of CCH serve the community by volunteering at events such as Gay Pride, the Rainbow Festival and the Gay Rodeo. The congregation of 450 is instrumental in supporting animal, homeless and HIV/AIDS organizations such as Joshua Tree, Shoebox Ministry, The Arizona Humane Society, and The Rebel and Divine United Church of Christ.

About the Cop for a Day Raffle:
The City of Phoenix offers the winning ticket holder* and a guest to ride in a Phoenix police helicopter, visit the police academy, use F.A.T.S. (the fire arms training simulation), listen in with a 9-1-1 operator as they work an emergency, visit the crime lab and learn how science captures criminals, and enjoy lunch with a member of the executive and / or command staff. Raffle tickets are $40 and all proceeds benefit CCH. Tickets may be purchased at www.communitychurchofhope.com or Off Chute Too.
