Attorney Matthew K. Foster Named an AV Preeminent Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell

He has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and is a past president of the Tallahassee Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division.

    TALLAHASSEE, FL, August 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For the ninth year in a row, attorney Matthew K. Foster has earned the AV Preeminent Rated Attorney designation from Martindale-Hubbard. The AV Preeminent rating is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.

Mr. Foster is a personal injury attorney who focuses on helping injured victims in trucking and auto-related accidents as well as victims of failed security or negligent security cases. He joined the Brooks, LeBoeuf, Bennett, Foster & Gwartney, P.A. firm in 1994. The Tallahassee native received a JD from Florida State University Law School in 1994 with high honors. He was nominated for the Rhodes Scholarship and selected for a Supreme Court internship. Most recently, he was named as Worldwide Registry's Elite American Lawyer for 2015.

Mr. Foster serves as an adjunct professor of Trial Practice at Florida State University College of Law and coaches the school's nationally acclaimed Mock Trial team.

After being injured in an accident at the age of 12, Mr. Foster developed a sense of duty and passion to help accident victims get the fair treatment they deserve. He has dedicated a significant portion of his career to protecting the rights of injured victims against insurance companies and corporations. He has also helped the victims of serious violent crimes obtain substantial monetary recoveries against apartment owners who failed to provide adequate security for college students and other residents. His background in both civil and criminal litigation gives him a unique perspective when it comes to handling serious negligent security claims.

Mr. Foster also has extensive background in handling criminal defense cases for select clients including allegations of embezzlement/fraud, Internet crimes, drug possession or trafficking charges, as well as DUI misdemeanor and felony charges.

He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Florida Justice Association and the Capital City Justice Association. He has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and is a past president of the Tallahassee Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. He is committed to charity and volunteer work with a variety of Christian-based organizations and is a member of the Visionary Committee at Trinity United Methodist Church in Tallahassee.
