Dr. Sutton has 25 years of experience in practicing medicine. As a general internist, she examines the details as well as the "big picture" as she helps patients address their health issues. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Washington, served as a chief resident in medicine at Providence Hospital in Seattle, and practiced in the community for 5 years before returning to the University of Washington as a faculty member.

The field of internal medicine piqued her interest because of its breadth.
