Emii Remakes Jim Croce's "Lover's Cross"

    LOS ANGELES, CA, September 22, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Emii pays homage to legendary singer-songwriter Jim Croce with a remake of "Lover's Cross", available today on iTunes. Jim Croce is best known for his songs "Time in a Bottle", "Operator", and "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown".

"Lover's Cross" was originally released in 1973 on Jim Croce's last album "I Got a Name", and shares similar themes with Emii's recent ballad, "Leaving You Behind." "Leaving You Behind" propelled Emii into the Top 5 Most Active Independent Artists Mediabase Charts for both Pop and A/C for nine consecutive weeks, including a two week stay at #1 on Pop.

Both songs express the hurt that comes with walking away from a destructive relationship, a theme with which Emii has a strong connection. So strong in fact that she is an official spokesperson for the national anti-abuse organization NO MORE.
