FM Pilots Set for Airwaves with Release of New EP: "Want Me"

    TULSA, OK, September 29, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Oklahoma's catchy Alternative/Pop group, FM Pilots, will release their new self-produced EP, "Want Me", via iTunes, Spotify, and all major digital outlets on Tuesday, September 29th. The band will also follow up on this digital release with a new music video soon after.

"Want Me" weighs in at a modest 5 songs from the group with a song selection that will not only adequately please your ears, but also leave anticipation for what's coming in the near future. "This album hits home on a personal aspect for all of us," says bassist, Cody David, "There's parts of it, musically, that we are so proud that we've come from something we felt was small and undefined to something that has a huge sound and is really pronounced." Lead singer, Nick Whitaker, re-enforces, "I've been in this band for 5 years, and I can safely say that Want Me is the song I've been waiting 5 years for."

FM Pilots, comprised of Nick Whitaker, Joshua Kephart, Cody David, and Joe Blanck, was founded in 2010 and is swiftly becoming one of the staples in Oklahoma-born music. The group has teamed up in their local community with Guitar House of Tulsa and What's Happening Tulsa to help promote this release and raise awareness of local talent. Singer, Nick Whitaker, will be joining efforts with Guitar House of Tulsa to film live music videos of local artists to help nourish their local music scene.

Regionally, in their 5 years, the band has landed spots on Vans Warped Tour, showcases at SXSW music week, Center of The Universe Festival, Chevy Music Showcase, PRIDE Fest, Mayfest, and even joined alongside notable acts such as Neon Trees, Mutemath, AWOLNATION, Panic! At The Disco, Three Days Grace, American Authors, and OK GO.
