Gelman has been regocnized by Castle Connolly and U.S. News & World Report as a Top Doctor for the past five years and now again in 2015. He has been noted for his leadership, dedication and excellence in treating kidney disease.

Drawing on more than four decades of industry know-how, Dr. Gelman parlays his knowledge into his role with Milford Regional Medical Center, St. Elizabeths Medical Center, and Hallmark Health Syatem.

During the course of his daily routine, Dr. Gelman treats such conditions as hypertension or high blood pressure, kidney stones, kidney infections, end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis, and kidney transplantation. Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, Dr. Gelman excels in his field due to a combination of his prior industry experience and educational background, which includes an internship at LAC USC Medical Center at the University of Southern California. He also completed a residency at the same institution and a fellowship in nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Gelman continues to see patients at his offices at Greater Boston Medical Associates, located in Milford, Malden, and Brighton.
