OHM Advisors Announces Leadership Appointments

Architecture, engineering and planning firm OHM Advisors has announced several changes to its architecture studio leadership structure.



    LIVONIA, MI, November 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel J. Obrynba, AIA, REFP has been appointed vice president of architecture. In his new role, Obrynba will grow the practice and ensure the firm's architectural services remain on the cutting edge of industry development. He will continue the studio's pursuit of exceeding customer satisfaction to remain an industry leader. Obrynba, a licensed architect and member of the firm's board of directors, joined OHM Advisors in 2011 and brings more than 35 years of industry knowledge and an impressive design portfolio of academic projects.

Obrynba is a former board of director member of the Columbus chapter of the American Institute of Architects and has served on the Richland County Habitat for Humanity board of directors and has served on the Mansfield Noon Optimist Club board for more than 15 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and has achieved the registered educational facilities planner (REFP) designation with the Council of Educational Facility Planners International.

Gary Sebach, AIA, LEED AP has been appointed director of architectural design, specializing in turning clients' visions into exceptional architecture. Gary, an award-winning architect with more than 30 years of experience, will lead an integrated team by providing leadership, direction and design expertise to elevate the culture of design at OHM Advisors. Under his leadership, the firm will focus on designs for office, education, municipal, mixed-use, multi-family, and recreation projects. Sebach is a former board member and current member of American Institute of Architects, Columbus chapter. He also volunteers his time as part of the student mentorship program at The Ohio State University. Sebach received a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, and Masters of Architecture degrees from The Ohio State University.

Gregory Lonergan, AIA, LEED AP has been promoted to director of architectural operations, overseeing operations across the discipline. Lonergan, a licensed architect with nearly 30 years of experience, will focus on workflow efficiency and documentation quality, and provide guidance, scheduling, and technical expertise to staff. He will also provide high-level project management assistance for the firm's growing body of work.

A graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor in Architecture, Lonergan blends his design expertise with a deep knowledge of construction methods. He is LEED accredited and has Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification through Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.
