The highlight of his career thus far was building the Special Fertilizer Products company and selling it in 2014 to Verdesian.

A certified crop adviser for the state of Iowa, Mr. Schwartz excels in his field because of his prior industry experiences and his educational background, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in business management and mass communications from Buena Vista University. In order to maintain a connection to his field, he affiliates himself with the American Society of Agronomy, Social Science Society of America, and the Nebraska Agri-Business Association, Inc. Throughout his career, he has been recognized numerous times, including receiving 12 consecutive president's awards from Van Diest Supply Company.
