Winter Festival at Delphian School Brings Community Together for Holiday Cheer

    SHERIDAN, OR, December 21, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The winter holidays are fast approaching, and the Delphian School celebrated with its annual Winter Festival. Held every year right before students go home for the winter break, the Festival is a chance for the entire Delphian community to come together for an evening of art, music and delicious treats.

The event started with a crafts fair and bazaar featuring students from throughout the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools selling handmade art work, pottery and other creations. Friends, families and community members found everything from one-of-a-kind sculptures to hand-painted Christmas ornaments.

Afterward, Delphian choral groups from across the school presented a program of holiday music in the Chapel. This show always includes an exciting mix of old classics and surprising new picks and is always closed out by rousing sing-alongs that involve the entire audience.

After a visit from Santa Claus, all guests were invited to the school's main Dining Room for a winter feast of cookies, punch, egg nog and other assorted treats. If you'd been good, you even had a chance to tell Santa what you wanted for Christmas.

The school invited the entire community to join in at this festive event.
