Finalist for 2015 Travel Photographer of the Year Award, Velasco offers advice to attendees at the largest and longest-running trade and consumer travel show in North America.

NEW YORK, NY, January 10, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Award-winning travel photographer, instructor, author and international guide Ralph Velasco offers a variety of tips and techniques that will help photographers of all skill levels to capture better and more distinct images of their travels when he appears as a guest speaker on January 9, 2016, at 4 p.m. EST as part of the annual New York Times Travel Show, running January 8 through 10 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.

Visually demonstrating simple-to-understand and easy-to-implement photographic concepts, Velasco will use images he's created in the past year during scouting and group trips organized by his company, PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc., and led by him to Cuba, Lapland, the Baltics, Romania, the Adriatic, Spain, Turkey, Cambodia, Vietnam and other exotic locations. In addition to sharing his formidable insights as to the elements that comprise unique and compelling images, Velasco will also outline how to prepare for your trip, making the best decisions regarding travel and photography during a trip.

"My goal is to help people capture and experience those beautiful moments that link us all together," said Velasco. "My team and I encourage our travelers to delve into the local food, music, art, traditions - those distinct things that, while they unite us by being similar in nature, actually serve to define the various cultures that comprise this magnificent world."
