Nominations Now Open for the 2016 Design Industry Blogger Awards

    SAN DIEGO, CA, January 31, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) today announced that nominations are open for the seventh annual JDR Industry Blogger Awards, the industry's premier awards program recognizing the best blogs in the design and remodeling industry.

The awards highlight blogging excellence in six categories: Architecture, Interior Design, Remodeling, Construction Business, Green Design and Microblog. Nominations are now being accepted online until February 19, 2016.

The purpose of the JDR Blogger Awards is to recognize influential design and remodeling industry bloggers through public voting. By giving the fans a voice, it reaffirms the quality content these bloggers produce.

"We are proud to be the nation's leading awards program honoring design industry blogs," said Todd Jackson, CEO of Jackson Design and Remodeling and the creator of the awards. "Our goal is to encourage the industry to deliver inspiring and educational content to the public. Last year we saw the closest margin of votes between first and second place in the awards' history. We look forward to another fantastic year as we honor the best blogs in the biz."

Online voting for the 2016 Industry Blogger Awards begins February 29 and ends April 15 at at 7 p.m. EST. All six category winners will be announced April 20. The winner in each category receives $500 cash and a 2016 Industry Blogger Award Winner badge to display on their blog. Some winners choose to donate their winnings to community causes. BuildDirect, the 2015 winner in the Remodeling category, used their prize to support volunteer efforts in Vancouver, where the company is based.
