Celebrate Valentine's Weekend at Osteria La Madia - Special Dinner Menu February 12-14 and Sunday Brunch Available February 14

    CHICAGO, IL, February 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- If you're looking a special Valentine's meal with great food and distinctive wines, look no further than Osteria La Madia, located at 59 W. Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL. Chef Jonathan Fox is offering a special prix fixe menu February 12-14 along with his regular menu. Couples also will be treated to a complimentary parting gift of a box of house-made Truffles.

Choose from either a three-course or four-course menu starting with an Anti Pasti, followed by an entree, and dessert, $47 per person or $65 with wine pairings. Add a Pizzetta course for $57 per person or $79 with wine.

Your meal begins with choice of Yellow Tail Bruschetta, Foie Gras Ravioli, Spinach and Taleggio Fondue or Chopped Italian Greens, Creamy Herb Dressing, burnt Caramel bacon.

The selection of entrees includes Orecchiette, Chicken Sausage, Tomato Conserva, Roasted Eggplant, Green Olives; Casoncelli, Butternut Squash filled pasta, brown butter & pistachio; Pan Seared Steak Florentine; or Wild River Salmon, fennel, blood orange.

A fourth Pizzetta course is optional.

No Valentine's meal would be complete without a sweet ending. Choose from La Madia's house made Chocolate Tortino; Berries with Sweet Mascarpone Cream, Zeppoli, Bitter Chocolate Gelato.

Osteria La Madia's Valentine's Brunch
Valentine's looking begin the actual "big day" with Sunday brunch, Osteria La Madia is the place to go. In addition to the delicious brunch menu, couples will be treated to a parting gift of a half bottle of Prosecco and a complimentary Firecakes donut (one per couple).

At a prix fixe of $22 per person, Osteria La Madia may be one of the best deals in town, considering the restaurant's beautiful ambiance and delicious homemade contemporary food. You can also create your own brunch from its tasty a la carte menu.

The prix fixe menu begins with your choice of Anti Pasti and an Entree or Pizza and includes a glass of Prosecco or a Bellini ($22). The a la carte menu includes selections from the Anti Pasti menu: Brioche Cinnamon Roll with Nutella, Amarena cherry, bourbon icing ($8); Seasonal Fruit and House-Made Yogurt, pistachio granola, pumpkin seed, currant, pomegranate ($8); Prosciutto and Roasted Squash with roasted garlic creme fraiche, pickled cipollini, radish, herb ($11); Potato Fritters, Mortadella, scallions, yogurt, wine soaked fruit and frisee ($9); and Winter Citrus Salad, orange, grapefruit, radish, baby kale, and house-made farm cheese ($9).

Breakfast Entrees feature Crispy Port Belly, roasted tomatoes, melted mozzarella, scrambled eggs, and crispy potatoes ($13); Fried Egg Bruchetta, ciabatta, garlic, spinach, lemon aioli, bacon, house-made fennel sausage and Fontina cheese ($12); Ciabatta French Toast, Amarena cherries, pistachio granola and Chantilly ($13), and Italian Cold Cut Sandwich, Mortadella, finocchiona, hot coppa, pickled banana peppers and lemon aioli ($12).

Indulge in the must-have Breakfast and Signature Pizzas, featuring Fingerling Potato and Egg Yolk with caramelized onions, Italian parsley, parmesan and garlic ($13); Egg and Prosciutto di Parma with white sauce, parsley, caciocavallo, and cracked pepper ($18); Triple Pepperoni, mozzarella, basil and white truffle oil ($17); Pork Belly, Slagel Farms smoked pork belly, kale, caramelized onions and smoked mozzarella ($16), and 3 Hour Roasted Grape, taleggio ($13), add Prosciutto ($5).
