Procurement Consulting Firm Shares Career Advice at Temple University

The Temple Economic Society is a Student Professional Organization created to provide students a better understanding of the economics discipline and a forum for discussing areas of interests and future career exploration. The organization plans events throughout the year, including guest speakers, group trips, and networking sessions to broaden students' learning experience and gain industry exposure.

Source One's Telecommunications and Administrative Expense Strategic Sourcing subject matter expert Leigh Merz will share with students a snapshot of how the Procurement function supports overarching business goals. The presentation aims to shed light on the potential career path as a consultant, beginning with the role of Analyst - taking a look at the day-to-day responsibilities as well as the necessary skills for achieving success in the field.
