BHS Global, Ltd., a world-leading manufacturer of battery handling and warehouse equipment, expanded their network of dealers, partners, and end-users at the 2016 LogiMAT Trade Fair.

"It was really important [for us] to be a part of it. We were able to share our products with decision makers from all over the world."

STUTTGART, GERMANY, April 20, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- BHS Global, Ltd., a world-leading manufacturer of battery handling and warehouse equipment, expanded their network of dealers, partners, and end-users at the 2016 LogiMAT Trade Fair.

The event, which took place March 8 - 10, is the world's largest annual trade show for the material handling industry. It was held in the vast halls of the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre in southern Germany. For the first time, the show was big enough to occupy all nine of the convention center's exhibition halls, totaling more than 1 million square feet.

Visitors, many of them decision makers for small and medium-sized business, flocked to the BHS booth at the heart of the complex. There, a team of five BHS representatives demonstrated Mobile and Scissor Lift Tables and a selection of battery transfer carriages. But the centerpiece of the BHS booth was a complete Operator Aboard Battery Extractor System, including Double Stack System Stands (BS-DS) and a Double Stack Battery Extractor (BE-DS).

Attendees paid close attention to both the battery handling solutions and the company's expanding line of warehouse equipment, said Katy Cortinovis, Marketing Manager at BHS, who spent three long days in the exhibition booth.

"The Battery Extractor was attention grabbing and drew a lot of interest, but the Powered Mobile Lift Table really stole the show," Cortinovis said. "The extended range and portability of that product makes it perfect for all sorts of applications."

At final count, more than 40,000 people gathered in Stuttgart for the three-day event. They came from all over the world, with 69 percent of the participants hailing from EU member nations, 17 percent from other parts of Europe, and 14 percent from Asia and the Middle East, reports the LogiMAT 2016 Closing Report. Almost 90 percent of those in attendance said they held decision-making power at their companies.

BHS was one of 1,280 exhibitors from around the globe. The BHS team stayed busy, meeting with original equipment manufacturers and countless industry professionals.

"It was really important [for us] to be a part of it," Cortinovis said. "We were able to share our products with decision makers from all over the world."

Those who missed out on the BHS appearance at LogiMAT can catch the exhibit at the CeMAT Intralogistics and Supply Chain Management Trade Fair in Hannover, Germany this spring. That event will take place at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds between May 31 and June 3.

CeMAT visitors will have the chance to try out a variety of BHS products, including Automatic Transfer Carriages (ATC), Manual Transfer Trolleys (MTT), lift tables, and the full Double Stack System.

"You don't know how equipment really works until you can experience it for yourself," Cortinovis said. "We make it a priority to participate at every major industry event so everyone can see our products in action. "
