Dr. Tara Hardin Attends American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry 2016 Scientific Session

    MASON, OH, May 06, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hardin Advanced Dentistry announced Wednesday that principal dentist Dr. Tara Hardin recently returned from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Scientific Session, or AACD 2016. Hosted in Toronto from April 27 to April 30, Dr. Hardin said she was grateful to be able to attend the conference and learn alongside her AACD colleagues.

"This was the most gratifying AACD yet," she said. "There was an amazing lineup of speakers from all over the world on topics from All-on-4 dental implants to composite artistry. The learning was fantastic, and I cannot wait to see what next year brings."

The AACD Scientific Session is an annual continuing education opportunity for dentists and their staff to learn about the latest industry developments and discover the benefits for their practice. To help attendees build cumulative knowledge of the material, the 2016 conference introduced an innovative "Triple Play" structure.

The three themes of AACD 2016 were design, implementation and realization, and the sessions were organized sequentially to focus on one theme for each day of the conference. World-class speakers guided attendees through the process of smile design on the first day, treatment plan implementation on the second and the use of restorations to realize the patient's goals on the final day.

Dr. Hardin is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She completed rigorous examination and clinical review of multiple case histories to achieve this distinction.

In a video posted to the Hardin Advanced Dentistry YouTube account, Dr. Hardin said that she learned a great deal about "the latest techniques and trends and materials" at the AACD 2016 Scientific Session and she is "so excited to bring [the information] back home to Cincinnati, Ohio."
