Texas Region 10 ESC Selects LivingTree as Parent Engagement Platform of Choice

LivingTree's private, social platform available through Texas Region 10 ESC

Helping parents get - and stay - engaged in classroom activities is key...LivingTree does it all in terms of spurring that connection.

AUSTIN, TX, June 08, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Texas Region 10 Education Service Center is proud to announce a new technology partnership with LivingTree. LivingTree builds trust and partnership between schools, families, and communities by providing private, secure social networks for educators including states, school districts, schools, and classrooms. LivingTree's mission and best in class solution aligns with the Texas Region 10 Education Service Center (ESC) mission to be a trusted, student-focused partner that serves the learning community through responsive, innovative educational solutions.

"Helping parents get - and stay - engaged in classroom activities is key since we know from research that parent connection directly impacts student achievement. Based on our market research into the products available to our districts, we feel LivingTree does it all in terms of spurring that connection. It's safe, secure, easy to use, and multi-platform. At Region 10, we're proud to have this engagement platform to share with administrators across our service area," says Grant Rampy, Chief Communications Officer of Region 10 ESC.

LivingTree shatters the biggest barriers to parent engagement (time, language, socio-economic status, and environment) by directly integrating with school and district information systems to build a hierarchical network that builds and allows conversation up, down, and across and entire education community. Within the community, users access the network via a single web and mobile application set to share posts, alerts, files, events, text messages and content. Users can also volunteer for activities, send and receive private direct messages and access directory listings. Each customized school network extends to the PTA, booster club, athletic group, and student organizations. Even more, the network extends to the broader community for mentorship programs and full community inclusion.

"We're thrilled to build on our current presence and work with the Region 10 ESC to transform parent engagement across the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Their vision for parent engagement and innovative solutions aligns perfectly with LivingTree's mission to connect everyone who raises, develops, and educates children," says Joni Carswell, President of LivingTree.

"We're continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and community for Region 10's 810,000 students and 1,220 schools," says Rampy. "We're excited about LivingTree's ability to help our ESC partners as they strengthen their ties to parents, as they comply with the Every Student Succeeds Act, and as they address the requirement of Texas House Bill 5."

The LivingTree network can be accessed via the web, or any iPhone or Android product via native app. It supports two-way conversation from all users with translation to 100+ languages.
