Superyacht Sales and Listings News from Fraser Yachts

Fraser Yachts, the world's leading luxury yacht brokerage, continues to build on its strong start to 2016. Three superyachts were sold in May and nine new superyachts were added to its central agency sales listings.

    MONACO, July 15, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Having passed the half way point in 2016 and with the Mediterranean yachting season yielding strong business so far, Fraser Yachts is delighted to announce more impressive results and an expansion of its sales fleet. The month of May saw the sale of three superyachts - M/Y MEDUSE, S/Y HIGHLANDER SEA and M/Y MAXIMUS II - and the addition of nine new superyachts to its central agency sales listings - M/Y UMBRA, M/Y LADY ORIENT, M/Y ALASKA OF GEORGETOWN, M/Y L'ALBATROS, M/Y CV-9, S/Y SELJM, M/Y STERLING V, M/Y ETOILE D'AZUR, and M/Y C2 MAZARIN.

An impressive and unique explorer vessel from Damen Shipyard's Sea Axe series, M/Y UMBRA has been used for aid and disaster relief around the globe, all the while being fantastically maintained. Built in 2008 and having undergone a full refit in 2014, this 54m yacht for sale has a commercially certified helicopter deck, expansive water and fuel tankage, cruising speeds of 16 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles. The superyacht is on the market for USD 12,000,000 and is not for sale to US residents while in US waters.

A classic yacht with a vintage feel, 48m M/Y LADY ORIENT was built in 1983 at Sterling Yachts. Having undergone a full refit in 2006, the yacht boasts a completely modern and spacious interior, as well as the capacity to accommodate 20 guests in six well-appointed staterooms and accommodation for up to 15 crew. With a range of 4,000 nautical miles and zero-speed stabilisers, she is the perfect yacht in which to explore the Asia-Pacific region. Her asking price is USD 6,900,000.

Built in 2004 at Australia's Shipworks Brisbane, M/Y ALASKA OF GEORGETOWN was constructed ahead of her time, with a fast displacement hull, cruising speeds of 13 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles. This 43.90m yacht for sale underwent a complete interior refit in 2015, and with an interior volume of 457 gross tonnes, she offers incredible space for both owner and guests and can accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms. Other special features include a Jacuzzi and an array of tenders and toys. She is listed for sale for EUR 9,900,000.

Another classic yacht from Sterling Yachts, M/Y L'ALBATROS offers proven world cruising pedigree. Built in 1985, this 43.59m yacht underwent a full refit in 2015. Her elegant and sophisticated interiors now feature Brazilian cherry wood with marble finishing touches. The yacht can accommodate 12 guests in six large staterooms. She also boasts generous exterior spaces, a solid fiberglass hull, a sport fishing cockpit, zero speed stabilisers and new generators. Both BV certified and MCA compliant, she is on the market for EUR 6,500,000.

Delta Marine's 39.93m M/Y CV-9 was built in 1995 with comfort at sea in mind and has already successfully cruised most of the world's oceans. A full refit in 2013 means the yacht is in excellent condition and ready for new adventures with new owners. Boasting spacious and sophisticated interiors, the yacht can accommodate 11 guests in five staterooms and is for sale for USD 8,500,000.

S/Y SELJM is a stunning 34.14m sailing yacht for sale from Italy's Cantieri Sangermani. Built in 1980 and refitted in 2015, she offers incredible potential as a charter yacht, with the capacity to accommodate eight guests in four staterooms. A veteran of several circumnavigations, the yacht offers unbelievable value for a world-capable, updated, pedigree-classed sailing yacht. Lloyds 100 A1 LMC classified, S/Y SELJM is on the market for USD 2,850,000, VAT paid.

Built in 2007 at Hargrave Yachts, M/Y STERLING V underwent a complete refit in 2013 and boasts a modern and bright interior with high quality polished wood touches. She can accommodate six guests in three luxurious staterooms - each with a private bath - and four crew. With very low hours on her equipment, which includes Caterpillar engines and generators, this is a rare opportunity. Her asking price is USD 4,200,000.

M/Y ETOILE D'AZUR has cruised the world, with multiple transatlantic crossings completed. An example of the finest Dutch quality from Moonen yachts, this 27.20m yacht for sale was built in 2007, with a full refit in 2013 that included an extended fly bridge, a new paint job and the addition of an electronic Zero Speed stabilisation system. The full displacement hull offers unrivalled comfort at sea and the yacht is cruise-ready and in fantastic condition. She is for sale for USD 3,700,000.

M/Y C2 MAZARIN is a highly customized 23.90m Mazarin 78' from Tamsen Yachts. Built in 2011, she is a sport yacht of exceptional quality, with a large tender and wave runner garage. Both her cruising speed of 25 knots and top speed of 30 knots are reached with low levels of noise and vibration thanks to her GRP/composite hull. With the capacity to accommodate eight guests in four staterooms, this yacht must be seen to fully appreciate her attention to detail. She is on the market for USD 1,950,000.
