Delmar McLean Fadden Recognized for Longevity in Engineering & Avionics

    SEATTLE, WA, August 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Delmar McLean Fadden has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Delmar McLean Fadden parlayed more than 50 years of service into the fields of engineering and avionics. He began his lengthy tenure in the industry after earning a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Washington in 1963 and a Master of Science in electrical engineering in 1975. A licensed commercial pilot of single- and multi-engine land airplanes, he has held several positions with Boeing Commercial Airplane Co. over the years, including chief engineer of the flight deck, chief engineer of the 737/757 avionics/flight system, integration manager of cabin systems and integration manager of airplane services. Interestingly, he was the owner of Delta Papa Ltd. from 2000 to 2009, and has served as the owner of Flight Advantage LLC since 2009. He is now a full time consultant to Sandel Avionic Inc. working on the next generation of flight deck displays for business and commercial airplanes.

Mr. Fadden was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1969, and chairman to the SAE Systems Integration Task Group that developed ARP 4754 from 1990 to 1996. He was also a consultant to Connexion by Boeing, the Cirrus Design Corporation, Esterline Corporation, and a senior consultant for Seatec Inc. Mr. Fadden has contributed articles to several professional journals, and his achievements include several patents for high-integrity architectural systems.

Mr. Fadden remains current in his field through his affiliations with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, IEEE, and the Human Factors Society. He is also aligned with the Mountaineers Foundation, the American Alpine Club, and the Mountaineers Club, from which he received a Service Award in 1991. Mr. Fadden has been featured in Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the West, and Who's Who in the World.
