New York Comedy Team Using Laughter to Help Those in Need

    NEW YORK, NY, August 20, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The comedy team of Al Isaacs and Scott Baker, Isaacs & Baker, is bringing their brand new show "It's YOUR Line Anyway" to New York's Broadway Comedy Club for a limited run this fall with some of the proceeds going to wounded police and firefighters and their families through a partnership with Laughter Saves Lives.

Isaacs & Baker's act can be compared to the long running hit T.V show "Who's Line is it anyway" but with a twist - the audience participation is amped up to a whole other level in each and every segment. No pre-written scenes, no script, and no two shows are ever the same!

As a comedy team for over 10 years, Al Isaacs and Scott Baker have performed for hundreds of thousands of people at clubs, resorts, casinos, corporate events performing arts centers and fundraisers. Their high energy interactive style is completely different from other headline acts on the circuit, and keeps them in high demand by audiences and venues alike. Their fundraising efforts have raised over 1 million dollars for many different charities such as ACDS for children with Autism and Down Syndrome, Fealgood foundation for 9/11 First Responders, Wounded Warriors, and Angela's house to help families of children with cancer just to name a few.

The duo has twice been voted 'Best Comedians on Long Island' by the readers of The Long Island Press, and called 'The Best Comedy Team on the East Coast' by Mohegan Sun, where they have a regular long running show. They currently hold the record for number of appearances by an entertainer at the amazing world-renown Woodloch Resort.

Al Isaacs is a former pro wrestling journalist, interviewing and writing about the top stars in the business as the creator of the internet's #1 wrestling website for almost 6 years, with his work appearing on radio shows, Good Morning America, Entertainment Weekly, and Playboy Magazine until he sold it in 2001. He's been a comedian for the past 25 years, honing his craft at the clubs on Long Island, NY in stand-up before teaming with Scott for their unique team. Al is married and lives with his wife and son in New York.

Scott Baker is a former decorated NYPD officer and amateur boxer turned comedian and is currently the co star of the hit Amazon sitcom " Midtown" now in its second season. He is the Co-host of the wildly popular internet radio show Miller and The Man with Scott Baker and the Author of 3 books one of them winning an award for best police book of the year. Scott learned his craft by starting his comedy career at the famed Old East Side Comedy Club run by Richie Minervini. The same club that created the culture that groomed such greats as Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Kevin James, Ray Romano, Bob Nelson among many others.
