Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Heather Giaudrone as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    SEATTLE, WA, October 09, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Heather Giaudrone, Security Officer for Universal Protection Service, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Heather Giaudrone will be featured in an upcoming edition of Women of Distinction in 2016/2017.

Patrolling the main areas and first few floors of a private building as a Rove Security Officer for Universal Protection Service, it is Heather Giaudrone's responsibility to ensure the safety of everyone, including herself, at all times. Gaining as much experience as she can in her field, she hopes to continue in the field and eventually move into an investigative role in the future. Earning her Criminal Justice degree at Kaplan University in 2011, followed a second degree in Information Technology two years later, Giaudrone knows she made the right decision and is eager about the future of her career.

"I got into this business because I wanted to live on the other side of the spectrum," Giaudrone said, noting that she is a victim of domestic abuse. "I want to be the one putting away the criminals and this job allows me to feel safer and stronger with each passing day."

Beginning her career as an Event Security employee with Safeco Field in February 2014, Giaudrone is happy to have enjoyed the opportunity. Working for Universal Protection service for nearly two years, in October 2015 she was named Security Officer of the Month. She continues to make great strides in her field and is eager for the future of her career.

"This field is not easy," Giaudrone added, "but if you love this field you cannot give up. As difficult as it can be sometimes, it is a very rewarding job in the end and it makes it all worth it."
