Odds Released on Tiger Woods' Comeback

Woods will not compete until at least December, which leaves many questions regarding his return and whether he would play another competitive round of golf again.

There's going to be sometime until golf fans finally discover how well Woods has recovered and if he would be able to come back at all.

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA, October 14, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pro golfer and 14-time major winner Tiger Woods still facing problems. Woods had three back surgeries in a space of 19 months and had been inactive for over a year. Now his back seems to be fine, but his game seems to be far from there.

The 40-year-old, who last competed in August last year, recently announced his commitment to play the Safeway Open in Napa, California, and the Turkish Airlines Open on the European Tour in November. But in a stunning announcement made this week, Woods said that he will put his anticipated comeback on hold, saying he was not ready to play competitive golf for the first time in 14 months.

Woods last played on Aug. 23, 2015, at the Wyndham Championship. A month later, he retired from the PGA competition due a surgery on his back. A third operation came just a few weeks after that. The Ryder Cup assistant captain said last month that his rehabilitation was doing well and that he had reached a point where he was comfortable with his game. But only three days before he was to return at the Safeway Open, Woods said he still not ready to come back. "My health is good and I feel strong but my game is vulnerable and not where it needs to be," Woods declared on his website.

Woods will not compete until at least December, which leaves many questions regarding his return and whether he would play another competitive round of golf again. Woods announcement also raises concerns regarding his game and how close he can come to the greatness. There's going to be sometime until golf fans finally discover how well Woods has recovered and if he would be able to come back at all. In the meantime; here are the odds on Tiger Woods' comeback as released by MyBookie.
