Katherine Crinklaw Celebrated by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Art

Katherine Crinklaw recently expanded her business into the textile market

    NEWMAN, CA, October 17, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Katherine Crinklaw has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Crinklaw has dedicated her entire life to pursuing her passion for art. Inspired primarily by nature, she has served as a self-employed artist for the past 40 years, since her graduation from high school. Ms. Crinklaw has explored a variety of mediums over the course of her career, including watercolor and acrylic painting, and is particularly proud of her continued growth. In 2015, she participated in a group show at the Carnegie Center for the Arts in Turlock, CA and she has been invited to participate again in October 2016. Ms. Crinklaw will also have a part in a two artist show at the Center next year.

In addition to her business, Ms. Crinklaw was also a volunteer art instructor at Bonita Elementary School from 1990 to 1993, and a participant in group shows at Haggin Museum in 2000 and 2002. Furthermore, her paintings appeared on the cover of International Fairs and Expos Magazine in 1998, 2000 and 2002, and her poems were featured in publications of the National Library of Poetry in 1995, 1996 and 1997.

As a testament to her success, Ms. Crinklaw was honored with inclusion in seven volumes of Who's Who in America, four volumes of Who's Who of American Women, and one volume of Who's Who in the World. She was also the recipient of the Merit Award at the state fair in 2003 and the Mayor's Award from the Turlock Art League in 1993. Additionally, Ms. Crinklaw's watercolors placed first in 2005 and 1998, second in 2000, and third in 2004, and her mixed media piece placed first in 2007.
