Theodore Mularz Celebrated for Successful Career in Architecture

Mr. Mularz, an architect emeritus, has made numerous contributions to the field of architecture



Despite his retirement, Mr. Mularz's past work will continue to make an impact on the architecture industry.

    ASHLAND, OR, October 19, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Theodore Mularz has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Mr. Mularz is an architect emeritus who had worked in the industry for decades. His principal works include numerous architectural projects, such as commercial, industrial, religious, recreational, residential and historical restoration. Before embarking on his successful career, Mr. Mularz received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Now retired, he was a registered architect in the states of Colorado, Utah, California, Arizona and Oregon. Past positions he has held include head of his own firm in Aspen, CO., vice president of Benedict-Mularz Associates Inc., and head of his own private practice in Ashland, Ore. Mr. Mularz also served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve from 1953 to 1955.

Due to his dedication to the field of architecture, Mr. Mularz participated in a number of organizations: The Colorado Society of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (for which he was president and served on numerous committees throughout the decades), the Aspen Chamber Resort Association and the Aspen Historical Society. He is also a member of Mountain Meadow's architectural review committee. In addition, he is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the recipient of the Community Service Award from the Colorado Society of Architects. In recognition of his professional efforts, Mr. Mularz has been included in Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in the World.

Mr. Mularz has made other contributions to his local community as well. He has served as the vice chairman of the Pitkin County Board Appeals, a member, vice president and president of the Colorado Board of Examiners, the vice chairman of the City of Aspen's Board of Appeals, a member of the advisory committee of the City of Aspen's Community Development Department, a member of the board directors, treasurer and chairman of the financial committee of the Rogue Valley Symphony, and a member of the Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners. Despite his retirement, Mr. Mularz's past work will continue to make an impact on the architecture industry.
