Greta Manville Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Publishing

    SUN CITY WEST, AZ, October 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Greta Manville has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Widely renowned for her writing ability and bibliographical expertise, Ms. Manville prepared for her professional excursions by earning a Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University in 1975, followed by a Master of Arts from the same institution in 1978. Her career background demonstrates considerable expertise in multiple areas. Before devoting her time to freelance writing, she spent 14 years as the executive manager of quality control for Consolidated Freightways in Menlo Park, preceded by 12 as an assistant treasurer for Argonaut Insurance Company.

Ms. Manville's novels include "Death Key," which was recognized by Authorlink's website in 2000, "Murder Online" and "Flight Into Reality." She also co-wrote "The Purgatory Trail," the first-place winner of the 1993 Southwest Writers Workshop. Building upon the various awards and recognitions she has received for her work, including the grand prize for Sparrowgrass Forum's Poetic Voices of America contest in 1999, Ms. Manville was honored with the John Steinbeck Fellowship at San Jose State University from 2002 to 2003. Through her work for the fellowship, she concluded and contributed to an annotated bibliography on John Steinbeck, which is currently available online and utilized by students and scholars alike.

Actively involved with the Arizona Authors Association, Ms. Manville served on its board of directors as the literature contest coordinator from 2006 to 2008, and more recently as treasurer from 2008 to 2010. She also has experience as an editor, having worked on a collection of writing for a local branch of the American Association of University Women.

Due to her substantial career prowess, Ms. Manville has been featured in nine editions of Who's Who in America, eight editions of Who's Who in the World and four editions of Who's Who of American Women.
