Adam Aleksander Presents Launches Secret Rooftop Villa at Lord & Taylor to Celebrate Chile Week in New York City

    NEW YORK, NY, October 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adam Aleksander Presents is proud to announce Fonda Chilena, a "choose-your-own adventure" event atop New York's hallowed Lord & Taylor Fifth Avenue. On Friday, October 28th from 8pm to Midnight, guests are invited to party hop through a rooftop villa in celebration of Chile Week New York 2016.

In partnership with ProChile, the Export Promotion Bureau under the Foreign Ministry's Directorate General, Fonda Chilena will highlight the best of this storied region. When guests arrive, department store elevators will open to a maze of spaces that represent different Chilean destinations.

Your journey is your own. Where will you travel? Who will you meet? What will you learn? Experiences will include:

•Relaxing to surrealist poetry presented by The Bowery Poetry Club and The Haiku Guys & Gals
•Learning the courtship of the Cueca Dance on the La Tirana dance floor
•Learning to mix Pisco cocktails like a pro in Valle del Elqui (hosted by Fluent City)
•Tasting through Chilean Wine in a warm vinoteca (by Wines of Chile)
•Indulging in authentic Chilean catering (come hungry...)
•Contributing to a massive 20' marinelife mural for The Lonely Whale Foundation
•Documenting the frivolity of the night in a greenscreen photo booth
•Dancing to the DJ's boombox beat as the Piscola-fueled dance floor heats up the night
