Game of Thrones Season 7 Kill Count

If you think you have a good idea of just how many characters could possibly kick the bucket during the upcoming Season 7 of the widely-acclaimed show, then you can start making some early predictions.



GoT will debut on 21 April 2016, but in contrast to previous years, the coming season will be shortened to seven episodes, so having a clear idea on who won't live to see Season 8 can be tricky.

Although, by having a look at the past seasons, fans can have an idea of how many characters could potentially bite the bullet in seven episodes.

During Season 1 there were 59 deaths, including that of King Robert Baratheon and wannabe kings Viserys Targaryen, Ned Stark and Khal Drogo. In Season 2, there were a whopping 130 deaths including demises including Renly Baratheon. In Season 3, there were 87 deaths, including the deaths of Robb, Catelyn and all of the Stark soldiers at the infamous "Red Wedding".

In Season 4, there were a stunning 182 deaths, including that of boy-king Joffrey Lannister, Tywin Lannister and Prince Oberyn Martell. Season 5 set a new record with 246 characters flat lined, including rightful king Stannis Baratheon.

In Season 6, the death of fan-favorite Hodor was a dagger to the heart. 48 characters died in total. Overall, we're looking at 752 deaths through six seasons (60 episodes) or an average of 125 deaths per season.
