SEOUL, KOREA, February 13, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Park Ju Kyong has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An artist who uses movement to evoke emotion and convey a feeling, Ms. Ju Kyong has been creating art for "people living ordinary lives" since establishing her career. Notably, she has been featured in more than 20 solo exhibitions around the world and her collections of work have been on display at Seoul City Hall, the Hana Bank and Yuyu Industrial Company. Today, she serves as a global writer and judge of the Korean Critics' Association, who honored her in 2014 with its Award for Special Art. Ms. Ju Kyong has also served as a judge for various other competitions including the Korea and China Youth Art Festival, the Daejeon Museum of Art competition and the National University Fascist Competition. In recognition of her professional excellence, Ms. Ju Kyong was awarded with the France Taylor Award from the Frances Taylor Foundation, the International Andre Malraux Association Grand Prize at the France Grand Prix and the Ahh Jung-Keun Culture and Art Award from the Harbin Art Association.

Ms. Ju Kyong's latest piece of work is a series entitled "Citizen," which was created with a woman viewer in mind. In the collection of art, she utilizes a fabric and canvas collage technique that is designed to restore the form that Picasso and artists of the Cubism period felt passionate about. Ms. Ju Kyong expresses the diverse facial expressions of daily life in the city and incorporates three-dimensional techniques to render a lenticular effect that changes depending on where the viewer is standing as they view the artwork.

Looking back, Ms. Ju Kyong entered the field of art because she had always been a creative child. Before establishing herself professionally, she attended Sangmyung University in Seoul, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in plastic arts. As she has progressed through her career, she has remained a figure of inspiration in her industry and an expert through her professional affiliations. Ms. Ju Kyong is the vice chairman of the Korean Council of Ministers and she affiliates with the International Andre Malcolm Association, the Taylor Foundation, ADAGP and the International Copyright & IP Association.
