Marquis Who's Who Celebrates Kal Solomon Rudman for More Than 55 Years of Practiced Industry Experience

    CHERRY HILL, NJ, March 07, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kal Solomon Rudman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Recognized for more than five and a half decades of invaluable contributions to his field, Mr. Rudman parlays his knowledge into his current role with Friday Morning Quarterback, where he has worked in the public premier record and radio trade since 1968. He has had a passion for the music and entertainment industry since he was a kid, and was thrilled to see his dreams come to fruition as his magazine rose to become one of the most influential in its niche. Mr. Rudman also garnered experience in a variety of related positions, including co-host of the Merv Griffin TV Show, music expert for The Today Show, creator of the high school jazz piano competition at the University of the Arts, and supporter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Prior to these endeavors, Mr. Rudman spent the first eight years of his career as the chairman of the department of special education for Franklin D. Roosevelt School in Bristol Township, Penn. He prepared for his journey by earning a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in education from the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University, respectively. He also joined professional organizations like the Philadelphia Music Alliance, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Philadelphia Police Commissioners Club.

When Mr. Rudman isn't working, he enjoys giving back to his community. He helped to establish the music theater department at the University of the Arts, founded a philanthropic organization called the The Kal and Lucille Rudman Foundation, and created the first Police Athletic League in Abington, Penn. In addition, he has parlayed his knowledge into creative works such as Pro QB, a music trade magazine that he launched. A shining example of skill, he was recognized numerous times, including with the Top Civilian Award from the Philadelphia Fire Department, the T. Seddon Duke Award, the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the National Sunshine Federation, and the Philanthropist of the Year Award, which he won in 2007. Additionally, he was featured in publications such as Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Entertainment, and Who's Who in the World, and earned five honorary doctorate degrees - one from Holy Family University, three from the University of the Arts and one from Drexel University.
