Currently an internist and pediatrician at The Grossgold Clinic, he started his journey at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, as a scientist working at the Shell Center for Cell and Gene Therapy where he served as a research postdoctoral fellow. That experience propelled him to join Texas Children's Hospital where he became a cardiovascular genetic researcher.
Dr. Grossgold prepared for his endeavors at the New Granada Military School of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia, where he obtained a degree in medicine and surgery in 1994, and at Capital University of Integrative Medicine in Washington, where he obtained a Ph.D. in integrative medicine in 2000. Dr. Grossgold then furthered his education by becoming a certified naturopathic physician through the American Board of Naturopathic Medicine in 2006, board certified in integrative and holistic medicine in 2012, and certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2012. He fosters continued growth by maintaining affiliation with prominent professional organizations like the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Association of Gene Therapy, the American College of Cellular Medicine, the American College of Cosmetic Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Advanced Medicine, the American Institute of Homeopathy, and the International Academy of Homotoxicology. Dr. Grossgold is a Lieutenant Commander of the US Navy Reserves and he is currently the Battalion surgeon and officer in charge of the 4th Amphibian Battalion with the USMC in Tampa, Florida.
