Fred Weintz Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Financial Management

Fred Weintz's excellence in all areas of wealth management led him to take on civic responsibilities in the field



    NEW YORK, NY, March 29, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Fred Weintz has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Mr. Weintz is a financial management professional known for his expertise in investment banking. Over the course of his career, he was a partner of the Goldman Sachs Group for more than 20 years. During his 48-year career, he also served the company as associate of the buying department and later, the new business department. Mr. Weintz's excellence in all areas of wealth management led him to take on civic responsibilities in the field. He was the president and chairman of Stonebridge Condominium Association, trustee of the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agency, trustee of the Harbor Lights Foundation, member of the financial audit and investment committee and leadership council of the Harvard School of Public Health, and member of the Task Force on Defense Spending for the nation's security.

In recognition of professional excellence, Mr. Weintz was the recipient of La Medaille de la Ville de Paris and a Stanford Gold Spike Award. Additionally, he was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World. When asked of his professional achievements, Mr. Weintz credited his education as the foundation on which his successes have been built. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, an MBA from Harvard University and an honorary doctorate in financial management from Norwich University.

To remain at the top of his field, Mr. Weintz is a member of the Ambassadors Round Table, the Bond Club, the Necomen Society of North America, the Down Town Association, and the Harvard Club of New York City. Retired since 1999, he celebrates a long and successful career by enjoying his hobbies and participating in select consulting projects -- a trend he intends to continue in the years ahead.
