Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health Adds Allphin, Quarles to Board

The Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health announced today the addition of well-respected community leaders Candi Allphin and Roger Quarles to their board of directors.



    BOISE, ID, May 25, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health announced today the addition of well-respected community leaders Candi Allphin and Roger Quarles to their board of directors.

Candi Allphin
Candi Allphin is a retired Senior Vice President for U.S. Bank where she held a variety of leadership roles, including Private Banking Managing Director and Group Manager of Retail and Business Banking. She also served for many years as a member of the Treasure Valley U.S. Bancorp Foundation team.

Allphin has been an activity community volunteer for many years, serving as chair of many organizations such as the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Boise State Foundation, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, the Junior League of Boise, and the Idaho Botanical Garden.

Roger Quarles, PhD
A former teacher, principal and superintendent, Roger Quarles is currently Executive Director of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation. Roger began his career in education as a Wood River Valley high school teacher, eventually leading as the principal of Kuna High School, superintendent of the Caldwell School district and co-director of the Idaho Leads project at Boise State's Center for School Improvement and Policy Studies.

Roger also served as Idaho's chief deputy state superintendent before joining the J. A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation, which has given nearly $700 million to Idaho communities over the past 50 years.
