CICERO, IL, July 03, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Frederick James Olk a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Mr. Olk celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Olk has led a varied and stellar life as a librarian, researcher, educator, and public servant, serving from 1990 to 2016 as a tax examiner for Cook County Clerk's Office in Chicago. From 1981 to 1986, he served as vice president of New World Credit Union in Chicago. From 1988 to 2009, he served in an account management role at Glenbrook Security Services. In 1990, Mr. Olk accepted a position as tax examiner for Cook County, where he served for 26 years.

He is affiliated with the American Society of Notaries, the National Association of Investigative Specialists, the American Legion, the Amtrak Historical Society, the Chicago Genealogical Society, and the 20th Century R.R. Club. He was the honoree selected for choir performance at St. Peter's Basilica in 2001, 2013, and 2016, as well as 1997 recipient of the Legion of Merit from the Republican National Committee, 1995 International Citizen of the Year of the Principality of Hutt River, Australia, a colonel of the State of Alabama, an inductee of the Order of the Arrow in the Boy Scouts of America, and a frequent Employee of the Month at the Cook County Clerk's Office.
