Atsuo Okamura Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

Over the years, Dr. Okamura has also worked as a senior research associate in hematology, and an assistant professor of oncology-hematology at Kobe University.

An graduate of Kobe University, Dr. Okamura holds an MD, as well as a PhD in medicine. A diplomate through the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine and the Japanese Society of Hematology, he affiliates himself with The Japan Society of Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapy, the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology, and the Japanese Society of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in order to keep abreast of changes in the field. Throughout his lengthy career, he has achieved much, including discovering the involvement of casein kinase I epsilon in hematopoietic cell self-renewal apoptosis. In addition to his status as a respected figure in his field, he has been recognized many times for his professional accomplishments. Since 2011, Dr. Okamura has been featured in six editions of Who's Who in the World.
