Gene Koziara Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who



    CLEARWATER, FL, July 18, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Gene Koziara a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Mr. Koziara celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Throughout his career, he has honed his expertise in many areas. He worked continuously for 24 hours on January 28 and 29, 1958 to ascertain that the launch testing equipment for America's first successful satellite was properly electronically connected per 16 sheets of technical schematics prepared by him was functioning properly per the technical test procedure instructions prepared by him. The successful test equipment was immediately flown on the morning on January 29, 1958 to Huntsville, Alabama. On January 31,1958 the test equipment and test procedures were used at the launch site now called Cape Kennedy in Florida to ascertain the first successful launch of America's first satellite. The same equipment and test procedures were used prior to the successful launch of America's first astronaut, a chimpanzee named Ham, on January 31, 1961 to ascertain that space flight was even possible for humans. That was prior to the Soviet Empire's Yuri Gagarin's successful space launch. The first two American astronauts had successful space launches based on his work.

An alumnus of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, Mr. Koziara holds a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics, a Master of Science in physics and electronics, and an MBA in management and economics. Additionally, he has pursued postgraduate studies in economics and operations research, as well as physics and electronics. His professional affiliations include the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Materials Research Society, the American Physical Association, and the American Chemical Association.

A frequent lecturer in his field, Mr. Koziara has achieved much, including the development in May 1954, of a rapid quantitative spectrographic method to accurately determine true quantities of lead in blood samples using a helium shield to prevent carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide molecules from entering the testing area of the spectrograph. He also authored a chapter in a book titled "Linear Programming and Economic Analyses." The name of the book is "Managerial Economics."

Notably, Mr. Koziara has won many awards for his work in the field. Since 2008, he has been featured in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and Who's Who in the World.
