A member of the International Symposium on Industrial Crystallization, he has achieved much throughout the course of his career. In addition to developing crystallization methods, Dr. Kim holds patents for the purification of pentaerystritol and phosphoric acid, the transformation of polymorph for pharmaceutical compounds, the crystallization of explosives, and wastewater treatment by freeze crystallization.
Since his start in his industry, Dr. Kim has contributed the knowledge he has gained to a number of creative works, including the Journal of Powder Technology, where he has served as a reviewer since 2004. An expert in his field, he has won numerous words for his work, including the Notwithstanding Researcher Award, as well as features in many volumes of Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
