Keisha Dixon Releases Her New Book, "Life After War: Yes You Can"

She continues to share her inspiration and knowledge with fellow veterans adjusting to life after war.

Keisha served eight years in the military and three years working for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Upon her return home in 2005, Keisha faced many hurdles in adjusting to life at home.

She endured a harsh custody battle for her children, faced false accusations, felony arrest, protection services, going broke from attorney fees. She had to fight a long battle for her military benefits.

Through all the heartache and fight, Keisha persevered and grew in newfound strength. She worked with a therapist, meet her now husband and allowed herself to know peace and happiness. She went back to school for her Bachelors in Business and is running a successful t-shirt business to support fellow veterans. She joined Toastmasters and became a powerful speaker. She is a local ambassador for Palmdale chamber. Keisha even finished ballet classes and danced her first recital at the age of 39.

As she continues to live comfortably with herself and grow, Keisha spreads inspiration, knowledge, and support through her speaking, her work, and now her bestselling new book.
