At the start of his career, he wanted to be a teacher. However, life had other plans, so he took a test to obtain a spot on the police force and while he was waiting for the results, he obtained a job in journalism.
In 1954, he was hired as a reporter and editor for the New York Journal-American. Subsequently, he lent his expertise to Borden Inc., and Hill & Knowlton, a public relations company, where he obtained the roles of account executive, vice president, senior vice president, executive vice president, and vice chairman.
A graduate of Iona College, Mr. Hearle holds a Bachelor of Arts, as well as an MBA. In order to remain active and engaged in the field, he affiliates himself with the New York Newspaper Reports Association. During his spare time, he enjoys giving back to his community through the Boy Scouts of America, the College of New Rochelle, The Roper Center, and the Danny Fund.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hearle has earned many awards for his work in the field. In addition to winning a Citizen of the Year Award through the Pelham Men's Club and an All-Star Award through Inside Public Relations Magazine, Mr. Hearle has been featured in many volumes of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in the World.
